It's not very often I post twice in one day- much less three times in a week. But it's Spring Break, and I'd rather do this than homework, let's be honest. 4 things:
1.) I had a day off on Monday so Justin and I went and had a "Let's Do Everything in Nashville That We've Said We Were Going To Do But Have Yet To Do It Day." It was wonderful and the weather was perfect. We went to the Pancake Pantry, the BookMan/BookWoman, Grimeys, the Parthenon, ate lunch downtown and ended our day at the Frist (with a lot of navigation help from Steven- thanks Steven). We saw a severe unibrow, Justin threw out his back doing a cartwheel, I found a Susanna Hoffs CD for 5$, and we saw Degas' "Little Dancer." It was an eventful day.
2.) Tonight I tried to crisp some pita bread and set the oven on fire. And with it, every fire alarm in the house off. I hereby submit my resignation from a domestic lifestyle.
3.) I've also rented three movies and have fallen asleep to the first one twice. I'm beginning to realize that I'm not what you call a "night owl." Assuming of course, that night owls emerge around 9:30. I used to be, but, alas, the "real world" has beaten me down into a party-pooper. I miss 11:30 Conan.
4.) (Best for last) In November I'm changing my name to "Aunt Karen!" Congratulations to these futureparents on their news! I can't wait to see little Craig- what a blessing for them and all of us!
I hope my brother uses our dad's classic phrases: "Listen!" "I'll rip your liver out!" That would be awesome. Remember that, Aaron.
